Sparks
i cant believe what i heard today when i got in, well my sisters puppy staff jumped off the sofa, but landed with her leg under her and her head kept going, well we took her to the vets, they immediately took her for x ray and  said when he fell she had crushed her elbow. we then asked what could be done, the vet send she is going to need a big operation to fix it, but they said it was going to cost £3000. here's the sad bit, because my sister is unable to pay the huge costs the vet said the only option was to sign her over to the vets and they will do the operation but then they will have to sell her. so my sister is not going to get her puppy back :(

valkyries
Thas so sad would it not be better for her to go back to the people she knows an loves OMG they wont get £3000 if they sell her so they are taking a loss any way so why not just charge what they will to sell an let the poor girl go home xxxx it's unreal
Sparks
i know, i cant believe it.
valkyries
the thing is it will cost them more in the long run coz after the op, instead of going home to be looked after they will have to, then she will have to go in care to await a new home an god knows how long that will take. It's bloody stupied. sorry
Sparks
i totally agree with you, surely the best thing to do is let the dog go where they are comfortable and where they will get the best care. but there is nothing we can do unless we pay £3000 which is not going to happen at the moment. curtoise
wow that is soooo sad, very sorry to hear, it however, instead of paying the £3000, sign her over, then you or a friend buy her back with your sis's money and then give it to your sis? silly but is cheaper than 3k!
