Sarah Posted March 23, 2009 Report Share Posted March 23, 2009 I have noticed that people are not able to add to peoples reputation levels on certain occasion, you may have noticed Smiles being given instead. This was due to a standard setting behind the scenes whereby you had to spread rep around more before giving it to that user again. I have altered these settings now. Before, you had to give rep to 10 other people before giving it back to the same person again, now you have to give it to 3 other people. For example: Richard posts a great thread and I add to his rep. Amy posts a great thread and I add to her rep. Richard replies to Amys thread and I want to add to his rep I CANT as have only given one other person rep since his original thread. I need to add rep to 2 other people before giving it to Richard again This prevents misuse of the feature but at the same time, allows it to be spread around more fairly.
