Not sure if the 4th will be a puppy or if I should get a rescue (which seems to be favorable at the minute) If you want to be fussy I actually have 4 as I had a JRT cross called Rusty when I lived at mums but when I moved away I wasn't allowed dogs and he was getting old so my mum kept him at home instead of stressing him out by moving him around all the time. Mistyrayn Posted December 23, 2008 Report Share Posted December 23, 2008 currently we have 3.... 2 husky's ( mine ) and 1 shetland sheepdog ( wife's) which are the permanent dogs .. but we have been known to as many as 7 ( Sheltie's) at one time.. anywhere from a day or 2 upto maybe a month.... this is due to wife being the South East UK Co-ordinator for the Sheltie welfare / rescue. We had 16 until early November when Tasha crossed the Bridge. We expect to be back to 16 late in January when Lucas arrives. And yes, obviously we are nuts!
