Dunc
As you might or might not know I have a Mx5 ( my summer toy ) and it need some work doing sills and respray. I been quoted £350 to have the sills done and bottom half of the car resprayed or I can pay £500 and the guy says the car will look like new blown all over as well as sills done. Question is it the right price for the job can you do any better do you want the job ? Here is a pic of the car if you are interested I can take pics of the jobs I want done. Timbaboy
Before I came to Sweden I was a full time paint sprayer. £500 for a full repaint sounds like a good price to me . For a rough idea my company would charge at £100 per panel, door, wing, boot or quarter And bonnets arond £150 this is minus any damage to each panel. Obviously depends on paint type and car etc but just to give you a rough idea! Thanks Ben
Timbaboy
Sorry just re- read your post I see the guy said blown all over? Did he say what he meant buy this ? As it could possibly mean patch up all the worse bits and not a full repaint? I'd ask the question.
