HuskyCouture
ASDFGHJKL!!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend went to the store, and I left Embry in the bedroom for maybe 2 minutes while I went to the bathroom. Came back and he destroyed a pill bottle. It was his pain medication from when he got neutered. I don't think there was more then maybe 2 and a half in there. But the labels off of it for the most part so I can't tell what the medication was called. All the pills are missing! I'm so angry. He's acting fine right now. Should I wait and make sure he's okay and if he shows signs of not being okay obviously take him to the vet or just take him immediately to the emergency vet

HuskyCouture
vet said just to keep an eye on him, he should be fine. he did the math and said he would have needed to take over 6 for him to even consider doing blood work. apparently it was a low dosage per pill because he got them as a 20lb puppy. proximity
Good to hear you checked it over with the vet, it was the right thing to do. Glad that everything should be all right, but just going "he's fine at the moment - we don't need to consult a professional" when they've had an unknown amount of specialised medication is not a good idea; I'm glad you trusted your own judgement over your boyfriends
HuskyCouture
Thanks Vet said he'd be really drowsy as it's an anesthetic from his surgery. so he's been asleep under my bed for over an hour now
