BlueWolf Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 I realise most of you are all dog people but hey, KITTENS! Who can't resist pictures of cute kittens?! Had to work in the kitten room today. You have no idea how hard it is to continue, or even start cleaning a room full of kittens! They're either causing small tornadoes in the middle of the room by chasing each other around and around, or are trying to use jeans to climb to higher places. Still, they are awful cute When I sat down to take some photos of a kitten in front of me, this one started eating my shoes in the mean time. And within seconds there was another on my knee (using its claws to stay there of course!) Meanwhile, this one crawled over my legs as well. I need to be veeery careful not to stand or sit on one :eek: Ok. So I seriously need to get back to work, I have a lot of cleaning to do. Lets pluck all these kittens from my cloths and lets just walk over to ther... Oh no... Not again... This is where the thrash bag is in. Or at least, it would be there if it wasn't already been tiped over and being used as a play area Hanging tight while I try to do my work :eek: After two hours of playing and running around like the devil they finally went to sleep! The phase between playing and sleeping happens quite dramatically. Some just literally fall asleep while they are playing Since it's hard to see how big this kitten is: It would easily fit in one hand while he's sleeping like this At least they slept long enough for me to finish my work, lol. Took my about three hours to get this small room done. But it was worth it because I left the building with a big smile on my face and a full SD-cart of photos! We have 6 little ones that are starting to be all over the place now lol they keep chasing us and following us around. Koopa loves them and nannys them. They even almost climbed into the sink, which was full of water of course. Had to make sure I didn't had too much water in it, in case one would fall into it Sure, kittens are cute but they require LOTS of work! There where ten in this room. But we have two other rooms in the shelter full of kittens right now. Luckily they are all socialised with people. We sometimes get unsocialised kittens as well, either with or without mother. If they are without, me and my mother usually take them home as foster kittens and let them socialise with people as much as possible.
