A few update pictures since the little boy has been with us for over a week! Harper has definitely come round, she LOVES her new playmate, but we make sure she still getting cuddles too: Finn has started to settle in really well, and is only waking once in the night as opposed to Harper who was every two hours, but I am still exhausted lol. From 5am onwards he is all go, I am hoping when he can go out for walks he will sleep a little more. He is one VERY stubborn young man, but there is a clever little brain in there when he wants to use it and he has already got sit, down, paw, is sitting nicely for his food, and is quickly learning to 'go toilet' when …

They opened the first official dog park of our area this month and I've been wanting to try it out for a few weeks, but it's been raining so much and the weather has just been terrible over weekend and when I can spare time for the 30 minute drive... Took Tsunami & B there this morning and they had so much fun! We spent a little over an hour there, it was wet & a bit soggy still from last night's rain but the boys enjoyed the outing and Tsunami was passed out the whole morning after it! Had to wake him up for his vet appointment and he was so excited to go for another outing...until he saw whe stopped at the vets lol he behaved rather good, wasn't afraid, did…

After nearly five years of having a stairway carpet that has been ripped apart and sewn back together more times than I care to remember, we've finally replaced it. Think Ice is happy about it. Bear had bad separation anxiety and one of her things was to pull up the carpet and rip it apart. She did it for a few months before overcoming her anxiety. Crate training made her worse so it was a case of working around it with toys, routine and a bucket load of patience. Lol. Sent via the power of rubbish tapatalk

Just some random pictures from the past couple weeks of the dogs. Summers in full swing and it is hot-hot-hot. But in just a couple months we will be able to go mushing again and I am quite looking forward to it

Can't believe my special girl is already 1!!! Seems like only yesterday she was a little 9 week old puppy sleeping in my arms. I figured I'd also announce although its quite a while away, I am also getting another puppy from Ame's breeder first weekend of September. Very excited for this mushing season in a few months with the addition of Ame now that she will be old enough <3

Is there a topic (I'm having a terrible time searching on my tablet tonight ) that shows your Huskies face as a puppy and then as a grownup dog? I would love to see the differences if you guys won't mind sharing? Obviously I can't post these, since Smokey isn't grownup yet, but I would love to see how all their faces changed...

Yesterday I decided to make a short video of my regular walk with Dex during the late evening. I'm in the Arctic right now. The sun is not going to set until after about 2,5 months. This makes late evening walks quite pleasant as there is still plenty of sunlight as well as a perpetual sunset/sunrise Very relaxing. https://youtu.be/FPIPLdk8B6M

We're lucky to have a superb offlead run by the rescue not too far from us, proper 7 foot fence, totally secure, and we take ours there as often as we can, these from a few days ago...... ...... rain, wind or shine - Mila in the rain The dogs love it - non-stop play and knacker themselves out - Mila and Skye with the usual Husky full-on play But always an opportunity to get a portrait - Bolt our latest adoption The Chosen One. My boy Luka (our first rescue) Luka and The German, Neeka Granite jumping down. Which we don't mind - it's up we can do without and, despite him being able to jump 7 foot fence …

So a quick update, I'm currently back in northern Sweden again. I don't know all the names of the dogs yet but I'd like to share you a few photos I made yesterday We have a few proper Siberians. They're definitely the most calmest dogs around here. All the others... I can't say it any other way than some of then are downright crazy. And I'm loving it, lol. Believe it or not, this is his I-am-enjoying-this face. Not his I-just-woke-up-and-I-haven't-gotten-any-coffee-yet face And we also have puppies. Walking around is harder than walking around a room filled with lego bricks. They're everywhere, any time. With razor sharp teeth!

Joined a dog playgroup and this was Tsunami's first time with them! It's the same park where I took him for his birthday last week. It is fenced in so that's why the dogs can be off leash, but I kept Tsunami on his new 10 meter leash as I don't want him to freak out off leash... and he keeps wanting to go swim in the stream and I'm not sure if the water is safe! Great Dane puppy Charlie was his favourite, but he also liked Ziva the 5 month old GSD! He didn't like the Border Collies that much but he did chase after them! On the last few pics you'll see the other 2 Huskies that were there, the lady who organises the group meets owns them... He is also sportin…
