I found it really interesting how a religion can ruin someones lives and how if you betray this religion they attack you in any way possible to ruin your life. Ron Hubbard science fiction author created it, and to get around federal tax laws and the fact that they were kind of experimenting on people to prove his whacko theories. I don't know how much I beleive but some people said that they were keeping track of what Katie did the time they were married and dictated how their kids were raised.
