Gone too Soon...RIP Tigger

Recommended Posts

You all have known me through thick and thin, and I just sort of bounce back when time heals.

Shortly before christmas, as I thought things were calming down, I too, calmed down.

I truly hope that it will be many many more years before anyone else is lost.

Our 3 year old, healthy (red-headed-stepchild lol)-orange tabby cat who was naughty but very sweet, died. I found him in the evening when I went out to put the huskies to bed for the night. The only comfort for us at the time is that his body looked so peaceful as if he was just sleeping.

Tigger was a kitty that I adopted from the shelter while I lived in Hawaii, and eventhough he very much enjoyed doing naughty things, Im still glad to have adopted him.

I have found a great deal of comfort in that fact that he was such a happy cat, and that I can know for myself that no one else can tell me he was neglected...because the night before his death we stacked stuff on the driveway to get him down from the roof of the house, and I had just spent time patting him and playing on the day that he died.

Tigger buddy, we miss you and we love you. RIP sweetheart
