debs
omg, have just been watching/listening to native songs on youtube and admiring all the wolves on the videos and thinking how great it would have been to be there in the wilderness with them! bloody hell i wonder why they did that? Damrod
Look at all the thousands of wolves that we have shot, poisoned, trapped, gassed or mutilated over the years and all the territory that we have stolen from them. It is our own fault. They suffer at our hands along with the rest of nature. Payback is hell.
Mazz
The natural food source (caribou) for the wolves in that area, is down. There are reported to be about 1,000 wolves in that area of Alaska, which is more than the area can support even in years with plenty of food. As a result, the wolves have become more brazen. It's pretty rare for wolves to attach humans. I don't think it's payback, just survival instinct, though it is a very tragic event.
Val (Zebedee)
looking outside the box, it's possible she had a problem, fell, injured, even underlying health problem and passed away & the wolves took advantage of it, or they could've just attacked as a pack as is being reported ... poor girl, not a nice end to a short life
