We also have a paddle pool in the garden for when it get really hot. Sabre (the husky) doesn't use the paddle pool though, but Inca (the malamute) loves it. Sarah Posted August 30, 2009 Report Share Posted August 30, 2009 my boys have a paddle in the paddling pool kaiser has taken a shine to digging in it then looking rather bemused when he gets splashed LOL If it's really war (yeah we wish) I freeze a wet towel and lay it in their cage so they can lie on it and keep cool. persephona Posted August 31, 2009 Report Share Posted August 31, 2009 Mostly with the AC lol. Well, we live in an apartment, so no kiddie pool for Kremlin. He would chew off any wet towel left for him to dry. We also left him ice cubes in his bowl and outside his bowl and they seemed to work. However, his most effective cooling method is sleeping on the tiles. Besides, we don't get that high temeperatures inside so this summer wasn't really a problem for Kremlin. Ice and Cripton Posted August 31, 2009 Report Share Posted August 31, 2009 They have a paddling pool but to be honest we havent really used it >> they like to lie on our stone floor in the dwn strs hallway >> we leave ice cubes in their bowl and sulpha to give them back the salts their loosing.
