A lot of States allow you to keep them in America but over here anyone can keep them without a license but I'd like to think the breeders always properly vet new owners for obvious reasons! He tries to get to my cockatiels lol Idon't think he would have any issue killing/eating a real mouse or the birds! I feel your pain with the kitchen cupboards, our ferret is terrible!
