If you experience any problems then check your email for instructions on how to fix the issues. Please bare in mind that because we have moved the domain, it can take 24-48 hours to catch up on all servers, so if the fix doesnt work then it may take this long for the problem to resolve by itself. Hopefully we should now stop experiencing the downtime that we have had over the past week or so and have a faster browsing experience on the forum. Any problems let me know. Dunc Posted February 11, 2009 Report Share Posted February 11, 2009 Following the e-mail worked Marc the only thing to add is it needed to be re-booted after its done as firefox would not reload without doing that 1st. To the rest on here this is a new host and if its anything like the hosts I have experienced in the past we will be lucky if its ok the last board I ran we went thou about 10 before finding one that we was happy with, they all seem to start off ok but its not till after a time the problems start so keeping fingers crossed for this one but dont be surprised if same thing happens again Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have gone with the opinion of afew guys on vbulletin site this time with reviews over the past few month, so will see how we go on. Latest review was 2 lots of downtime in 3 years, and speed seems pretty good. The guy that owns the servers is very experienced with vbulletin also which helps so I'm hoping we might save ourselves further moves in the future.
