Kira has ate 3 nylon harnesses . Different brands/durability/thickness/strength whatever . I already sprayed a harness with bitterspray . Actually, I doused it in bitter spray . And she ate it that night . I don't have the time to take it off and put it on everytime she goes outside . I have no problem buying online, just remember I'm in the US . My boyfriend is fed up with wasting his money on them, sooo I told him I'd see what you guys recommended . Thanks for all your help ! ))

on the menu tonight we have.............. half a pigs head!!! lol the butchers had them at £1.99 for half a head, so we're taking it down to ricks mums and we're gunna let the 3 of them go at it (kira, yuki & buster) in the kitchen lol, yuki and buster arent often fed raw but they do enjoy it, but ricks mum isnt very comfortable with it so they dont get it often unfortunately but iv convinced her not to feed them tonight and wait till we get round there so they can feast lol will post pics and a vid up afterwards for anyone who wants to see the carnage lol

just to let you know that childrens pants work much better than boxers! we have a panty liner in them to stop leakage (14p for 10 at sainsburys) but it kept falling out of the boxer shorts so today i got boys pants (age 3-4) and they work so much better, obviously the leg holes are elasticated so the pad cant fall out, and she doesnt seem so bothered by them either (she kept taking the pad out of the boxers lol) heres a couple of pics of kira moddling her new pants (red of course lol) you can kind of see the pad in this one we cut a hole for the tail

My boy Bandit is 11 weeks old now and doesnt seem to like his food. He seems to need encouragement. He does eats his treats but the iams proactive health food he is on he eats a little bit. Spills some on the floor eats from there then goes back to the dish and there is always food left over in his bowl. Is he a picky eater? What do I do besides checking him out with a vet.

I was wondering your opinion on when to start a pup on adult kibble. Some vets will tell you a year old and others will say 8 months is old enough to start adult kibble because they're pretty much the size they're going to be. What do you guys think???? We do have one more bag of puppy food to finish but after that should we get a bag of adult food?

Last couple of days have noticed some strange behaviour in wolfie, the first happened last night. Wolfie was in his usual place on the wicker sofa in the conservatory, i sat on there with him stroking him and my nephew was standing in the doorway talking to me when i noticed wolfie was just staring at my nephew kamen, he then moved his hand quickly near wolfie and he went to nip, kinda brushed it off thinking he was maybe playing, did'nt seem to show aggression, then tonight when i walked him, normally when someone walks past us he goes towards them with his head near there waist does'nt jump up at them and then person normally puts there hands near him so he can sniff an…

My male Brody is a super fast eater.... I am trying to find a solution to help get him to slow down. both pups are 5 mo. old, she eats in what seems to be a normal time approx 5 mins or so to eat about 1 -1/2 cups of food, whild he gulps it down without even chewing it in about 15-30 secs if I would let him. before feeding them I make them both sit in a calm state of mind, I am also calm whild feeding them. At first I tried removing his bowl every few secs, or putting my hand in the way. He would back up, sit down being calm, but as soon as I let him restart he would eat even faster... so clearly this was causing more anxiety. Then I started hol…

Hi all, Our 11 week old male Yuric is becoming a bit of a nightmare. He is beginning to get quite touchy about his food and toys with certain people in the house, and we've noticed its actually with other males! For example, this evening he was eating some chicken for dinner - my dad walked into the conservantory where he was eating and Yuric immediatley started growling, my mum goes in there and takes away his food no problem. And again this evening, I had some clothes down by the washing machine and Yuric made a bee-line for them, I went to pick them up and told him to leave and he really growled and almost went to snap. We're really worried that this is goin…

Hello My Siberian had pups that turned 4 weeks old on 2/12/10. I gave them the dewormer at 2 weeks and again at 4 weeks. I have also given their mother the dewormer at the same times. I have actually given Cinnamon the dewormer monthly. I noticed this evening that two of the pups have what appears to be round worms. They look like spaghetti noodles or bean sprouts. They were not moving and today was the first sign I have seen of any worms in any of the pups. What do I need to do to make sure the pups are ok? Do I need to take them to the vet immediately or is the presence of what appeared to be dead worms a sign that the dewormer is worki…

Tonight was my first time ever to feed my boys raw food. I've researched a lot into it even before joining this forum and decided to take the plunge. I have given them raw beef marrow bones before and they seemed to handle it (the marrow) without any problems whatsoever. So I started off with some chicken quarters + wings with an egg and a bit of yogurt: Paxton completely gobbled his quarter up in one single bite which really scared the crap out of me. He did manage to break his wing into two pieces before seemingly swallowing both halves. He finished all of his chicken before Aspen could even eat one single wing. A…

Hello So, today at work we had a nutritionalist come and do a talk on Proplan. I have been using AG with my guys for a few months now and merlin still isnt gaining weight, and they all seem to be bouncing off the walls. Even summer who is the worlds lazyist greyhound. The rottis stool has been soft and moist and there is alot of it. Its also black (the same as the large breed pup food colour) Proplan claims to have been around for 86 years. They only have a few types of food but i did compair their proformace with AGs proformance. PPs Ingredients Chicken (22%), Dehydrated poultry protein, Rice (17%), Maize gluten, Animal fat (protect…

My parents recently bought two new husky puppies. We owned a shitzu for 2 years and it passed away. We bought one husky on 12-22-09 and the other on 12-24-09. I know they are high maintenance dogs and I want to keep them in good shape and beautiful as they are. My parents signed up for the wellness plan at petsmart and they gave us free royal canin food for the first month. My parents bought Authority when they bought the dogs and after Authority food we have been keeping them on the Royal Canin food. I been doing a lot of research and noticed they are bad for my huskies. I bought the Nature's Variety Prairie Lamb Meal and Oatmeal 5LB. We have about a bag of R…

Ok so I know I posted about how well my three did on Blue Buffalo's Wilderness formula...and they did...up until last week!!!!! We are on our second bag of it (after having other brands in between since the first one) and last week, about 3/4 of the way already through the bag suddenly all three have the runs!!!!! First only Jill and OC had it so I wondered if it was something to do with raw meat (Ronan refused raw meat while Jill was in heat so he was eating only kibble for a couple weeks) but then a couple days later suddenly Ronan had it too and even worse than the other two!!!!! I ignored it for a couple days playing around with things until I was able to figure out t…

Anyone wana share just out of interest... Personally since my Nuks is only 8 months I just do a weekly general health check which includes her teeth and regularly give her carrots, dental sticks and the odd bone to chew on and so far we havnt had any probs at all, but I do plan on cleaning her teeth myself if I ever notice a plaque build up!
