  1. Sadly, not only are these really funny, there is also a ring of truth.
  2. At the vet now. She's crying while they flush her ears. Must be sore as all get out. Doc thinks the area on her muzzle is allergy related.
  3. Zoya is going to the vet tomorrow. She has another ear infection. She gets them this time of year through fall harvest time. Due largely to pollen and field dust. So going to have her ears flushed. Then she also has an area on her muzzle that seems irritated. It itches quite often, still has all the fur intact, but want the vet to take a look. We have an issue with ground wasps in our back yard, and I suspect, based on previous encounters she has had, that she has taken it on the chin from them. And the third concern is her weight. Since her knee injury almost two years ago, Zoya does not care to run as she once did. Perhaps because when she tore her knee up, it was while running. She has gradually puffed out the last year or so. We've recently put her on a reduced calorie kibble that she likes, but it is too soon to tell if it has been affective. Will know more tomorrow after the vet visit.
  4. Hope the vet clears it up.
  5. Now you see Rob, we here in the States are not blessed with the stature of historical architecture that you are in Europe. It must be amazing to be able to visit such a place. Love the pics.
  6. One place I don't take my dogs is to dog parks. Too often we have issues in our area with kennel cough, parvo, distemper being passed around at dog parks. Don't have any control over how responsible others are for the dogs in their care. Some are diligent about keeping their dogs up on meds, while some are not. Just because a dog has been vaccinated for parvo, for example, does not make the dog immune. Play it safe and get to the vet. It may be something simple, but could be something serious.
  7. Welcome from Iowa. So did she get surgery on her knee, or did she just get therapy? Kudos for giving such a beauty a furever home.
  8. Welcome. A photo of her standing, from the side would be helpful.
  9. Looks like a sleeper. Good choice.
  10. Our two males tangle. I grab one of them by their rear legs and pull while yelling KNOCK IT OFF! Then I throw a pillow or stuffed toy at them. Used to be an every other day happening. Now it's maybe once every two to three weeks. Rohn is a bit smaller, and gets the worst of it. He has a few battle scars on his neck, covered by fur. Luke usually comes out unscathed. It actually sounds worse than what it is. Still, it's unnerving.
  11. Welcome Madison. Lancelot is a looker. Kudos for giving him a home by getting him out of the shelter. Puppies are nice, but rescues rare great.
  12. Ours do that all the time. Once they get under something, and like the sense of security, they do it quite often.
  13. Welcome. Always have a soft spot for red and whites. Our first was a red and white.
  14. Welcome. Mya sure is a looker.
