Blackshears Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 Hello, Our 6 month old husky has started to have a lot more accidents and is getting a bit more stubborn with listening. She has had two accidents in the house. We tell her No then put her outside but I am starting to feel that is not enough. Do you guys have any suggestions? Also could this be connected to her coming up on her heat cycle? She has been doing a lot of sniffing around ( not sure its because we had the other husky here for one night) or if it could be an early sign of her going into heat. If she is on heat at the moment I don't know if they will spay her, I think they will recommend that she be done three months after her cycle? She can't squat to go potty so she got it all over here so i used about 35 baby wipes to clean her off and shes so doped up off of drugs that all she can do is lay down with her big cone on. Whew I hope she recovers quickly, but the vet was saying she has to wear the cone for 7 days. Any one else leave their cone on for 7 days?? I don't like seeing her like this. HuskyCouture Posted June 10, 2010 Report Share Posted June 10, 2010 embry had to wear a cone for a week as well when he got neutered, felt so bad for him. the only time i took it off was during walks since he was to distracted by the outside to lick at the stiches. poor girl hope she feels better and comes home soon.
