Mistyrayn Posted January 29, 2009 Report Share Posted January 29, 2009 i use 2 whistles for my girls .... 1 mainly for reacall and if im running or walking to say " hey girls wrong way " they seem to have learned that 2 toots is " hey girls come here " them seem to respond very well to it....... the other whistle is a bit louder and harsher.. i use that one for immediate "down" and again respond well .. but did take some training.... i have over pitches and tones etc i use with the whistle.. but am at moment concerntrating on recals and running commands Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bec Posted January 30, 2009 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 No I don't use one - I would rather build reliable recall with a voice command in case there is a situation where I don't have a whistle. Probably the same reason why I don't use a clicker - I use a voice command as a marker instead as a clicker is just one more thing you have to carry.
