Ainsy
Hi everyone, the OH has just arrived home with a detangling tool like the one pictured. I am a little cautious about using it. Will it damage Nova’s coat? anyone have any experience with them? TIA
BingBlaze n Skyla
I can't tell by the picture but does it have any kind of blade in it ? I use a mikki anti-tangle rake on mine and it just has rotating comb like teeth Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
robke
I too think that there are blades on it to cut...would not use it on mine whatsoever...
Ainsy
They aren’t blades like a furminator - more like flat hooks that don’t have a point or sharp edge.
robke
Call me silly but still would not use it... rake just rolls and detangles that way...
chelseafan
The teeth look too close together and with it being curved on the end it may pull the fur out harshly. The rake I use has bigger gaps between each teeth, it pulls out fur that is already loose so it doesn’t hurt.Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners

Emma
We have a few different grooms tools dotted around the place. Tbh it’s the undercoat rake that gets pulled out and used the most. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
