Pongo hasn't attempted to even raise his leg once and still squats at 8 months old now. Maybe he will never do it? SarahNukka&Shadow Posted February 11, 2010 Report Share Posted February 11, 2010 I think it can often be a learned behaviour, the lady that owns Nukka's dad also took one of her brothers and apparently he started doing it as soon as he saw his dad doing it but hadnt done it before that, so if Pongo's never been around another boy dog when hes done that he might not get the idea! wasp Posted February 12, 2010 Report Share Posted February 12, 2010 our pom mix is over two years and doesn't lift his leg. if we go for a walk on a trail and there's a tree along side (one that's more than likely been peed on before) sam will sniff it and lift his leg but nothing ever comes out.
