With dogs, the names can be as simple as "Marley", "Ginger" or "Lady". But with horses, it needs to be something hard to spell, unique and... I don't know, funky. This online horse name generator gave me these names: Alizay Moon Blossom Showdown Nibbley Samara Elita Magavin Cruise Thunder Domingo Ever thought of naming your dog Alizay? there's also this two-word names trend going on. I like two-word names my horse in The Sims FreePlay is called Southern Gale. I plan to name my second one (still saving up to buy him LOL) Fleeting Arrow. However, two-word names seem to exclusively belong to the horse world. Have you ever met a dog called Southern Gale?? funny how horses are the only species we name differently. We have all sorts of pets; dogs, cats, pygmy goats, rabbits, rats, you name it. None of them are named the way horses are. Emma Posted June 7, 2014 Report Share Posted June 7, 2014 Saw a programme once (think it was on the graham norton show) where they listed some race horses that had been given very rude names but spelt and worded as such that you didn't realise it was rude immediately.....until you read out the whole name.
