Removed #5
I found this article on weather.com rather interesting ... It seems like just a few years ago there was a concern about the population boom, too many people having too many kids and now it seems as if it's just the reverse. goingsolo
Pets can be better behaved lol. Seriously though, they tell us the world is overpopulated then complain when people stop reproducing, cant win.
Elyse
Yeah, I've heard about that. IMO, I think its a good thing...the world is already too overpopulated with people.
Removed #5
The main argument that I saw was that without the kids to provide the income and care then us old folks aren't going to have the retirement funds to make it ... seems like it always comes down to the dollar (pound, whatever)
Elyse
That's true. Now that all the baby boomers are retiring, its going to be a real strain on my generation to provide their pensions and etc
HuskyMomma
We are one of those statistics, three huskies and no babies. At the moment we don't even have children in our 5 year plan. Another husky is another story though.... =D

Kells xx
I think pets can replace children in a way... Some people do not want the pain and hassle of children and of course most pets don't answer back, want money etc I have a toddler but i miss having a pet.. If people want to have pets instead of babies that's good some people shouldn't have kids and some people shouldn't have animals... As long as all are being cares for properly then its all good xx Sent from my Windows Phone 8S by HTC using Tapatalk
mydiamond
well the saying "oh Japan..." doesn't rise to popularity because of nothing but anyways, as far as my observation goes, what usually happens is this: new couples that want children are not confident with their ability to raise one. So they get themselves a pet, usually a dog, to "practice". What happens next is they got so hooked to the world of pet ownership they ended up with 4 dogs and 1 baby
PaulaSkye
Well here I always wanted children, my OH & I started trying for a baby after 4years, 6 years later we got our miracle, 12 years on and after 22 years together and no more miracles we decided to become husky owners I think one of each is a perfect compromise :-D Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk
