Mazz
We give Zoya carrots for treats. She loves them. Mashed potatoes are not the best thing for a dog. Too much starch that almost instantly turns to sugar. But a small taste once in awhile is probably OK. Sweet potatoes, on the other hand, are good for dogs, but in moderation. Chewbacca_&_me
Chewy just likes mashed potatoes. My 2 year old often makes a mess and leaves little bits of potatoes on the floor, so chewy cleans them up for me, lol. He will take any human food I give him just not any dog food/kibble, hahahaha. Susanna
I have heard same as Mazz says. Potatoes are not the best food for dogs. They can get energy from it, ( Sugar/starch) but potatoes nutritional value for a dogs is poor. And they just can´t digest it very well. All vegetables should be boiled if you feed them to your dogs. SarahNukka&Shadow
Nukka is very greedy and will eat pretty much aaaaaanything she does like mash but I will only give her small amounts on special occasions, not sure if what Vuk said about boiling veg is completely true tho, as this actually takes the nutrients out so things like carrots are better raw plus dogs love to crunch and a crunchy stick of carrot can be as good as a denta stick. CanadianWolf
Suka will eat them some of the time. If there's something better in the dish she will push Them around and leaves them alone except a little bit on her nose

sabresmum
I thought I had seen something on here about potatoes, so have just had a read to catch up as Sabre has found a potatoe and eaten it (we are having a new kitchen fitted and are in a mess) and I just wondered if one potatoe would be bad for him?
