Austinville
sigh, Quinn dribbles from both ends.... I do know that putting an absorbent pad under the bowl was a bad idea, apparently LuLu was paper trained at some point... *chuckle* I've also heard that the raised bowls help with swallowing in addition to what Dunc stated. My son's German Shorthair was constantly throwing up after she ate. He changed to the raised bowls and no more problems.
Sneakersmama
Mine doesn't do that, but he likes to splash it out of the bowl with his paw and then roll in it. Too funny. We've taken to putting his water bowl outside and just letting him out when he seems to want it. (he's a smart boy and either goes to the back door or sits by the sink looking pitiful. He also tips his food out of the bowl then eats off the floor. Silly dog! Our old lab used to do the dribble thing so it may be more personality than breed? (what's a GSD?)
