  1. didnt think of that with her crate cause its in my bedroom where she sleeps its her space but i will try just putting her in another room and ignoring her i will also try the short lead she had so much attention when she was tiny but obviously its diff now she doesnt see it that way tho ive also been told by someone i met that she uses a figure 8 rope lead when out walking her. huskies so maybe worth a try........anything is worth a try

Sky blue, all I can suggest is continued positive reinforcement - keeping an eye out for any indication that Skye needs to go! Ironically our Skye was a very slow learner and it took about four months before we could trust her, (we got her when she was about 3 months of age and we suspect she hadn't been trained properly - having had three owners before us)!

  12. i agree my girl is 6 months now and has selective hearing!but i find that being patient and consistent works as she loves her food and treats so works as positive reward training i also found that ignoring her when shes being a diva works and put her in her crate for time out as thats her quiet space also she listens and is amazing after her walks and excercise so let him burn off energy then do some training , alot of hard work and a few chill pills[as maz said] later we are getting there and i couldnt imagine not having her in my life now, so keep positive and establish yourself and hubby as alphas and he will trust you respect you and the best part he will love you good luck and enjoy
  13. Ok thanks for the advice! I'll take her to my local vets after she's a year old and see what they recommend aswell ?
