bubba
Hi, Im looking to get a pet crate for my puppy in march and was wondering what size to get for my husky. I want one that will grow with him. Any help in what size to get would be appreciated.
Dunc
Just get the biggest that you got room for thats what we did, look abit daft when there weeks or months old but its not that long before there full grow so like I say might as well by the biggest you can
Mazz
We got a wire crate at a local farm supply, that had a panel that we installed to separate the crate into two parts. One while Zoya was small, and the other for use when the panel was later removed. We bought one that was alrge enough, so when she became fully grown, she could comfortably turn around inside. I belive it was made for "large dogs" as opposed for "giant dogs". Hope that helps.
Chewbacca_&_me
I started with a metal 30 inch with a divider. Now i have a 48 and a 36, and it seems those are perfect and that they will hold up for awhile. I didnt upgrade from my 30 inch for chewy until this last month, and he fit into it still, but I think he likes the stretching room he has now. As someone else said just go with a big enough size that the puppy will have room as it grows, and whatever size you have enough room for. Sarah
Both my boys have a 42" crate and are now fully grown. They need to have room to be able to stand up in and turn around for when they're fully grown I got both mine from Ebay for about £35 each
