siberian_wolf
Lucy has to get something printed today from her lappy and her screen has gone completely black! She hasnt got the file on USB or anything like that. Do any of you techy peeps have an idea as to what she could do?
Taiya Blue and Miko too
apart from checking the "standard" things i wouldn't have a clue sorry! things i'd check..... hasn't been put onto presentation mode by accident - normally Fn key and F1 or F9 (depending on model) - look for number key with a monitor above hasn't hit the brightness button by accident the normal if nothing else works - turn it off and on again before it goes out of the window! then i'd ring work techy support i'm afraid LOL! Good luck!!!
Sparks
If she has a hdmi output or a vga output then she could connect it to a monitor or tv...

BlueWolf
Is the laptop itself still turned on? What happens when you restart the laptop? (If you press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds, you can force it to shutdown. Not recommend for everyday use though!)
