siberian_wolf
Well, Finn is only about 9 weeks old, but we are learning "Sit, Down, Paw, Wait, Bring it back, Let's go, off, and no, No, NO!" lol, had to giggle at the no, No, NO! command Anyone have any tips on getting her to respond to her name? She doesn't even look up when I say it. lol. Getting them used to their name can be quiet easy. One point to remember with this is don't use their name for displine! Only use their name for a positive experience or something you want Finn to associate with a positive experience. For example when your training commands (for this we will say the SIT command) say her name and then the command so you would say "Finn Sit" when she does sit reward her and say something like "Good Finn" or "Good Girl Finn" so she starts to associate Finn, her name, as something positive and doing it like this may also help you with further training such as recall.
