Hi I was wondering what types of flea medication you used on your puppies? I’m planning on using an oral once she gets to 6 months or a year depending on her weight. But I was wondering in the meantime what can I use? Thank you all in advance!

I would not use one  - ever  -  but especially on one so young.

As far as I am aware all the normal and vet ones are neurotoxic.

There are SOME  (admittedly not many) that are herbal  -  and totally safe.     I use Billy No Mates   -  a herbal blend that is sprinkled on the food   - hubby mixes it into half a tin of sardines in spring water  and puts in one of my boys cbd oil   (its the only way he will take it)    This is their breakfast   -  half a tin each   (both are 4 years old).

 

I have not had a flea on either dog in the last 2 years   -    I do have to be careful what I use as one of my boys is epileptic.

I use a spot on treatment but only if my 2 actually catch fleas otherwise I dont bother
