Beef Mince 400gm just 40p = £1 per Kg I buy this all the time, good mince, just strain off the excess fat when cooking. Asda says its dinner of turkey, vegetables, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, stuffing and a pudding will feed a family of six for that price - or £1.83 a head.
