CourtJester
Marc just a thought...... and you Leo if you know ......... This computer of mine as a Ixtreme m3720 graphics card built onboard so there is nothing using my PCI- express port. So my question is can I use the onboard graphics card for the monitor I have now and the new PCI card to run the new monitor and TV, one on HDMI PORT the other on DVI port ? We talked about the onboard and installed card o^_^0 http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/amd-eyefinity-technology/how-to/Pages/set-up.aspx Link above might help with your setting up of 3 monitors with your new card. EDIT: Also the display ports on that card are mini therfore need http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?q="Active" mini displayport adaptor&hl=en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=16186940406885241861&sa=X&ei=L0I7T4fWBMOy0QXu1Zht&ved=0CHYQ8wIwAg rather than the one you linked to which is standard display port. Marc
We talked about the onboard and installed card o^_^0 However it is possible. Depends on the chipset compatibility and whether the bios installed on the board will allow it. However its a risk you would take when buying teh card. Supprised with you being so up on things you not seen this anyways  http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-xfx-hd6770-super-eyefinity5-ddr5-single-slot-pci-e-card-with-5-x-mini-dp

Plus with an ATI been used you cant go installing new graphics drivers WITH old ones on. the only circumstances I have seen this work is when the chip sets the same as the card you install or similar ... i.e uses the same drivers and I would never say it's possible it's better to stick with no do it the correct way not bodge it. That cards nice but 15 monitors...Overkill lol

However I agree, the majority of the time it doesnt work which is why its just not worth the bother trying. Could be money spent for little gain. TBH Im seriously thinkin of looking at one of those cards myself now Ive seen them LOL
