Kirbysowner
after your dog is neutered, is it normal if his testicles are black/bruised? he has been like that since we got him and even after 2-3 weeks his testicles are the same color. his stitches are fine, but I'm just concerned about the bruising that doesn't seem to go away. we have a vet visit coming up but I just wanna see if other owners have experiences this. BingBlaze n Skyla
blaze swelled up and bruised - tho it went down - how long does he need his stictches in for? blazes were only in for 14 days
Elyse
Excuse me for my ignorance, cause I've never had it done to Suka (he came that way from the shelter) but doesn't neutering involve the snipping of the testicles? Or do they snip something else first and then let the testes fall off?
slaves to kaya
Ours were bruised for ages not sure exactly how long for though. i think they shrunk away before we noticed them improving. i wouldn't worry if he isn't in pain

Or, maybe he does, and I just can't see it cause I'm blind? :

Spirits has gone (he was 8mnths getting done) but dougle still has his slightly (he was over 3yrs)

HuskyCouture
embry was neutered at 6 months, i didn't notice any swelling at all and his stitches were dissolvable.
Tan J P
Marley was done few wks ago now,had some swelling and brusing but not for too long, his stitches were dissolvable, but i would have thought Kirby would have had his stitches removed by now
