Ive decided to cancel my St Pats weekend to go there instead. We gonna be in Wales from Friday afternoon. Where is everyone stayin? raindog Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 This weekend's race is organised by the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain and is at the South Alwen Forest. Here are the directions taken from the SHCGB website (www.siberianhuskyclub.com): From the South: Take the A5. At Cerrigydrudion turn North on the B4501 towards Llyn Brenig. At 2.7 miles Pentre-Llyn-Cymmer is signposted right and South Alwen on the left.*** Go straight on and North Alwen is on the left signed Alwen. From the North: Take the A543 from Denbigh towards Pentrefoalas. Turn South on the B4501. Go past the Visitor Centre on the left and North Alwen Forest is further along on the right signed Alwen.***Approx 0.5 miles further south is the sign for Pentre-Llyn=Cymmer on the left and South Alwen is on the right.
