Macdog Posted October 23, 2010 Report Share Posted October 23, 2010 I'm really quite perplexed. I know that "Girls Can Do Anything", but this is getting to be ridiculous. Quite seriously, Diva, our little brown 4 yr old spayed female has taken to mounting and humping other dogs. Vigorously. Particularly male huskies - like Kayko - but she's not fussy. It's starting to get rather embarrassing. Does anybody else have a female that does this? Or perhaps I should just write it off to "The Spirit of the Klondike"? SarahNukka&Shadow Posted October 23, 2010 Report Share Posted October 23, 2010 Yep several of us here have humping girls... if shes spayed then its not a hormonal thing but it can be a way of releasing excitment and frustration as well as a dominance thing. I generally stop either of mine humping each other with a sharp NO just coz if they do it to the wrong dog and that dog thinks their being dominant they could get into a nasty fight!
