  1. No reports yet thank goodness but I know what you're saying 100%. People tried to report me for using mushing tugs and not 'real leashes' at a 5k LOL Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  2. Oh they'd have a ball XD Thank you!!! Thank you!! Thank you! No cake... but lots of treats! Haha thank you! And honestly the litter had such an extensive waiting list that there was no guarantee I'd get one, so I am beyond ecstatic as you can imagine.
  3. Awh thank you. I do adore having all of them <3 Why thank you! And please.. take Cloud.. hes been barking all day and driving me nuts LOL!
  4. Can't believe my special girl is already 1!!! Seems like only yesterday she was a little 9 week old puppy sleeping in my arms. I figured I'd also announce although its quite a while away, I am also getting another puppy from Ame's breeder first weekend of September. Very excited for this mushing season in a few months with the addition of Ame now that she will be old enough <3
  5. Thanks all! And Sherrie I used grooming chalk from www.opawz.com
  6. Just some random pictures from the past couple weeks of the dogs. Summers in full swing and it is hot-hot-hot. But in just a couple months we will be able to go mushing again and I am quite looking forward to it
  7. Personally at 6 months I would not risk that, many people start too young. I'd say once shes 10-12 months you could do the short sessions with the scooter with her having another dog up there to help out. But no more than a mile. I wouldnt exceed a mile until shes 18 months and her growth plates have closed.
  8. I would not simply because of how young she is. I don't start running mine NORMALLY until about 12 months and bikejoring at 18 months. I started Ame a little earlier because she is from working lines, but she also has a team of dogs helping her. With 1 dog, I'd follow the 12 month running 18 month pulling guidelines.
  9. As before so happy for you <3
  10. A Siberian Husky doesnt fit your situation whatsoever, but dogs were bred to be companion animals so most breeds of dogs will not do well with living outdoors, especially in the heat, for long periods of time. I would highly suggest waiting until you are able to move out of your parents, so that you have your own house, that your dog can stay inside with you.
  11. Thank you so much! She's been a great role model for little Ame Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk Thank you very much she was good for me while I did them ^.^ Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  12. Abby got some awesome pictures of Yuki yesterday Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  13. Ok the kennel club doesn't manage breeders though. The kennel club is a registry. So it's an owners responsibility to research thoroughly and also use recommendations from the Parent Club of their breed to buy responsibly. Also I know friends who do flyball... a friend of mine mushes her dogs and also does flyball and they are not mentally damaged. Sure I'd consider dogs that only compete in flyball sport dogs, not working dogs. But just because they thoroughly enjoy a sport doesn't make them damaged. At least their dogs are out doing something. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
