  1. Welcome I'm from Salem MO!! About 2 hours from you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I need some help with the grieving process. Larka never showed signs with Meeka as she had Keiko to keep her up and he played with her and kept her mind off it. Well Echo doesn't like to do that sort of stuff and Larka has done nothing but cry since she's realized he'd gone and I'm not to sure what to do. She's trying to get echo to play with her and he won't. She gets her favorite toy out and runs around then stops looking for keiko cus they always played together. She acts like she has no one when Echo is still here and so are we. I'm not to sure what to do. We use to have a no dogs on the furniture rule. As of now we no longer care. They are to be where we are hoping it helps. They slept in bed with us and are Larka is currently cuddled in my lap whining. I don't know what to do to ease her pain. Meeka and Keiko were the only two who played with her and now she only has herself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. It is with a heavy heart to say that we lost another pack member yesterday. Keiko was healthy and well Intill Wednesday at 3 he started have seizures. My vet talked me through it and we gave him some medicine. He was fine and calm and I was looking forward to the visit Thursday morning to find out what was going on. Well at 6 yesterday Keiko was caught in a cluster of seizures that ended his life at 6:30...We have no idea what happened. How a perfect healthy dog got sick and lost his life in less than 12 hours. I took him immediately for a necropsy. The results on the gross necropsy came back yesterday and they found nothing. They are calling it a freak accident as everything inside is completely healthy. I have them the go too on running everything they have to give me an answer. I should have one wednesday. I feel for Larka and Echo losing two pack members in less than 6 months. I don't know how this could of happened. My vet and the breeder believes it is from his accident he had as a puppy and it effected something in his brain. But I won't know Intill the full results come in. I'm having him cremated and ordering a special urn.
  4. Thanks!! It's not so much the chewing off the harness I'm concerned for just her learning how to back out of hers. It's like a cheap walmart harness. When she pulls on the lead when out going potty she knows if she pulls hard and fast and wiggles she can slip it from her head and down her legs. Like no time to react when she does it. Just thankful she has her collar on as well. I'm so ready to get the fence up so they can go out naked to potty lol Leashes and harnesses every 3 hours or less is getting to be a hassle. I miss just doing it when walking or running lol
  5. Okay so we need a good durable harness. Larka chewed hers to pieces so we bought another just like it and she has learned how to back out of it and slip it. So we need a suggestion on a good harness?? Echo likes to pee on everyone else and their stuff so how do I take urine smell out of leashes and harnesses?? We tried washing them in the washer and they still stink pretty bad. We need a good durable walking belt. One that I can hook all three dogs too and some carry along things such as poop bags and water bottles for them and I and bowls and treats. Or maybe even backpacks for them?? Everything has been going pretty good though other than just a couple things. We are hoping the fence is up next weekend so they can burst the energy out lol...our carpet stinks pretty bad like past peoples dog smell and we can't figure out how to get it out thinking of just doing hardwood again
  6. We finally moved! The house is so much bigger and the dogs love it! They hate having to be taken out on leashes but that'll change hopefully in next week or two when we get the fence repaired...Sad part is we no longer have internet ;( ....our company can't get it out there Intill they get a bigger box to where more people can be on it or someone disconnects theirs...so I'm pretty upset about that but I still have my cell phone! Just wanted to let everyone know how things are going. Also the dogs are in their crates now while we are at work but never any longer than 4 hours because I can drive home during lunch now!!!! Anyway what are some good methods or treats that they can enjoy in them hours?
  7. We think some aussie as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Today on my way to work we almost hit this little girl. There was actually two more but they were out of the road. When stopped the owners offered her to is in fear of her getting ran over. She was covered in ticks, and she screams when you come near her or try to pick her up... She walks around with her head down like she's scared to death. Something inside me lit up so we took her. I've never met another dog that has a personality so similar to Meeka. She just wants to be in somebody lap. Meeka was the exact same way. Always pushing between whomever and another dog...we don't know what she is but the pack accepted her immediately Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'm so sorry and I understand where you are coming from as I feel the same way with Meeka...I don't think I will ever be ready and I feel like a horrible owner and actually think we are because her death could of been prevented...we haven't really discussed it because we are not ready yet...it's completely up too you and if your ready..i think your a great owner...you had no idea what would happen..you didn't know he'd chew out that fast or at all..keep your head up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Ahh haa! I figured it out. I downloaded a different ebook reader and now it works both offline and online Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. This is what it shows Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah there is two arrows on the sides. I clicked it thinking the same thing and it just stays white Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It's an ePub format. When I downloaded it I tried to open it and it said format not supported please visit App Store. So I did and it had me download an ebook reader app but it's not working it just shows a white screen. I'm horrible with this lol I have never had to have a ebook for a class. And I just bought the computer 3 days ago because that's what electronics guy said would work. Beginning to regret listening to him. Should I take it back and get the iPad? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Jeez I wonder how they live on earth. Your post wasn't even that bad Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hey guys I have a college class that my book is a download ebook from online. I had nothing that would support it so I went to walmart and was going to buy an iPad and then the electronics guy talked me into an HP chrome book because it accepts apps and I can type my research papers. So I thought that was super nice! We'll I got my book pulled up and all is good when online but I want to download the eBook to use when offline and I can't find anything to support it on the laptop!! So should I take it back and get an iPad or is there something I'm missing!! It runs the google App Store. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
