Southwesthusky
I've a 13 year old female husky and recently lost some weight, and looking slightly skinny on her back. I've tried her on puppy food as advised but made no difference. She gets fed wet/dry twice a day, anyone have any suggestions on how I can help her to put it back on ???? 2Huskyfun
Has she been checked out by the vet?
Southwesthusky
Not recently, 5month ago was the last time ( unrelated reason ) and she was fine. Just don't want to be told it's because of her age ????
Rachael_Astro
It could be due to her age, but there’s an endless list of things it could be so she does need to be checked by the vetSent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
Southwesthusky
But if it is the age what's a good fattening food I could give her, as I said I tried puppy food but doesn't seem to has done anything ??
BingBlaze n Skyla
She needs a vet check first to make sure there's not an underlying issue causing her to loose weight , my staffy had hyperthyroidism which caused him to loose weight (he was 16/17 years old) What food are you feeding and what is the age range on it ?
