chelseafan
A Hampshire vet thinks she may have found a link between Alabama rot and a bacteria found in fish that causes similar symptoms. This organism is found in fresh and brackish water common bodies of water found near dog walking paths. It’s early days yet for definitive proof more data is needed but hundreds of dogs have died contracting this flesh eating disease, very few survive. Another good reason to keep all dogs on leads when walking, for their own protection, at least you’d know what they’re eating and drinking. Rachael_Astro
I wouldn't even risk walking mine through forests at all, really hope they find the cause and cure! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
