chelseafan
Thanks Angie.Markie, he’s on a quality kibble, he’s recently had ‘the op’ and that area is quite red also. He’s at the vets tomorrow so all being well he should be on the mend.Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
Markie
Well huskies bodies have a hard time getting Zinc to begin with. Normally when this happens it's because their food has to many plant base ingredients in it [emoji4]Sent from my Pixel using Husky Owners mobile app
Emma
I believe it’s calcium and iron (oh and grains too) that prohibits the absorption of zinc which is why when giving foods rich with zinc it’s usually done outside of mealtimes. She can try using sudocream on the rash if possible as that’s got zinc in it. I haven’t tried the nutra zinc supplement though. Ice seems to respond well to a combination of sudocream on the skin and eating sardines etc... occasionally. Hope all goes well at the vets. robke
I have used Nutra Zinc for Bindi and it worked just fine and dealt with her problem also when she had her op we used sudacream on her wound but only little bits at the time... Oscar’s had blood taken and she put sudocrem on his op area and invested in Nutra zinc.Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
