I never have & just always have taken my dogs out when they were puppies (every 30minutes for potty training AND when they'd start sniffing the floor.) We all know that big SNIFF ... I'd pick up the puppy & RUN RUN RUN like hell to get outside (some times I'd get nailed, but that was better than peeing on the carpet!
