Southshore Posted March 9, 2017 Report Share Posted March 9, 2017 Hi everyone! I have a 9 week old female puppy. She was weighed at exactly 9 weeks and was 4.55 kg. Kindly let me know the weight of your puppy or when your dog was a puppy at whatever age months or weeks you can recall and if that weight was under, average or over. Please also indicate whether you have a male or female. Can anyone provide a week by week healthy weight range for a female and male puppy seperately? Rachael_Astro Posted March 9, 2017 Report Share Posted March 9, 2017 I doubt very much that anyone weighs their puppy every week!I can't remember how much Astro weighed at that age. Every puppy is different so you can't determine a healthy puppy based on what other people tell you. Some puppies are chunkier than others, others will have been told by their breeder that it's an 8 week old pup when really it's 5 or 6, etc etc. Your puppy should have been to the vet by now for a check up and they should have told you whether the puppy is a healthy weightAlso not sure how knowing a male puppy weighs is going to help you if you have a female? Jo Posted May 7, 2017 Report Share Posted May 7, 2017 Amy is nearly 12 months ( still a puppy in my mind[emoji3]) and she is 26.2kgs, shes a little taller than average, I walk to vets once a month to weigh her so they can get her wormers/ flea tablets right. skye2217 Posted May 8, 2017 Report Share Posted May 8, 2017 Mine puppy at 8 weeks was 6kg i took her to the vet also at 12 weeks she was 8 kg now at 15 weeks she is 16.5 kg ... shes a piglet, but very tall quite large puppy. My new puppy is 8 weeks and she is 6 kg. Hope this helps. But in terms of average there is none, each Husky is individual. Having met a few, mine at 7 months is taller than average but that doesn't mean he will be big. Although i expect him to be the way he is going. Weights are in KG.
