zoey
Well Zoey became a therapy dog prospect a few months back, and after a couple steps to get fully going, we are now on a weekly schedule with her. Tonight was Zoeys first night as a therapy dog in a nursing home. She did AMAZING!. other than an initial pull into the building, she was very calm around all the elders and did not jump up on anyone. She sat and let everyone pet her. A few people were a bit afraid of her I think, but the majority loved her. Sharing the good news of our husky becoming a therapy dog Shes with St Johns Ambulance in the greater Toronto area. zoey
zoey had her second visit tonight and she did terrible! :( We took her to daycare for the entire day and I think she was tire and agitated. And when we got home she drank her entire bowl of water and then had to go the bathroom. So it would seem that a bunch of things were bothering her while we were visiting. hopefully next week goes better
