The lunge line is stronger than most dog training leads and if you can get to a tack shop you can normally get it cut to the size you want. My sister had one with her old dog, Rudie (not the English Bull terrier, my sisters Rudie was a mastiff mix staffie), and it proved to be much stronger than the dog rope leads.
