Maz51
FYI - just helpin' out here... No Wheat or Gluten for dogs. Northern breeds cannot break down or digest wheat or gluten. They do not carry an enzyme for this. Nor for lactose, grape family fruit, (raisins, currants, prunes etc) and onions whether raw or cooked. Chocolate is poisonous. Frozen carrots for teething. When your pup nibbles, mouths, bites fingers&hands clothing ... remove quietly from room & social company into a solitary room - one or two minutes. Bring back .. repeat immediately if they start again.. When they just nuzzle.. watching waiting ... reward with a treat saying 'Good boy/girl! Be nice..no bite!' This can apply to other undesirable or unpleasant behaviour. Never shout. They have excellent hearing. And they hate rejection.. all pack/herd animals do. REJECTION SUCKS FOR PUPS, DOGS & US.. If you can read EQUUS by Monty Roberts - so interesting.. on animal behaviour. I've met him.. incredible man. The successdogs.com site is invaluable.. for all your training and do start now. Pups need help/guidance and support from day one. They leave far too early (in my opinion from research and experience) their litter pack and mum and older dogs who are their teachers in good behaviour. YOU are it now.. don't leave it till five or six months when they're bigger and stronger with bigger jaws too. Xx End Kefir (goat is even better that dairy or sheep's milk, C.O. & ACV Other Info: Pups eating another dog's infected faeces can pick up Coccidia. Lethargy, listless, diarrhoea. It can kill young kittens & cats if not treated. ... Newborn pups need worming after three-five days in case they've picked up anything from mum. And again in a few weeks regularly. Try: A tspn of Kefir (morning and evening); may well settle a jippy tum and gut and get some good bacteria growing; his appetite and energy should return. This us simple enough to grow your iwn too. https://keepthetailwagging.com/should-we-give-kefir-or-goats-milk-to-dogs/ https://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/forums/topic/home-made-kefir-safe-for-dogs/ Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
BingBlaze n Skyla
Wow that's a long winded way to teach leave it and watch me , I never hike or camp, skyla was a rehome she hasn't lost any trust and has bonded with all my family members they're lazy and don't dig either, why the laughing face after astroturf? House full of laminate no issues 20 minute walks 6 times a day as a pup No extra links on harnesses etc Don't need non pull tools any more trained to walk nicely and no longer needed Not arguing just stating some differences, no two dogs are alike so this post will only help so much, the more people who post can get help that will cater to their individual needs rather than just following links imo Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
Maz51
I did say at the beginning "Take it or leave it".. and you're very brave with no extra links on collars/harnesses. Having had Chester 'slip' a collar once.. and head on to a road in rush hour, I'm a just a tad paranoid now. Where I run them on the rig, there are fields with sheep in.. although I endeavour to choose as far away as possible alternative tracks. I back up my comments/support replies with verifiable links... it takes just one click to look. BingBlaze n Skyla
Not brave I just don't need it , my stuff is fitted so they can't slip it and they behave well enough that I don't need to worry , I always get clips etc but that's it Not all links will help tho every dog is different and not everything will work for each dog Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
