BlueWolf
I feel quite bummed I have not been able to follow this for as much as I wanted too! Been following the news from ESA for some time about Rosette flying to Comet 67P/C-G and the lander Philae actually landing on it. Never in our history has something like this been done before so it's quite a huge milestone that today, exactly this happened! I'm a bit surprised actually not too many people know about this. This is a mission that started 10 years ago. Rosette has been flying through space for a full 10 years before arriving to this comet. Nobody knew for sure if this would've worked, especially as there wasn't even a lot know about the comet. They had to plan their route on the fly as Rosette started scanning it when they got close enough. Anyway, a few weeks ago ESA posted this video about space exploration and Rosetta. Even if you're not as interested in all of this stuff like I do, this is still worth a watch. You won't see NASA making this kind of videos
