Removed #5
MMMMMmmmmm .... talk about mixed emotions. He kills coyotes because a pack of them can decimate a cattle herd, old animals and calves are prime but they will kill an adult steer if they can catch it off guard. No problem there, not really. He kills a wolf because at first thought it's a coyote and he hasn't seen a live wolf in the wild ... I'm sorry for the wolf and the hunters ignorance, but that's what it was, simply ignorance. Maybe this one wolf will have had its life taken so that other can come down from the northern states in relative safety.
Jay
I wonder if he will be prosecuted, or if they will accept that it was an accident.

From that article: The hunter was not cited, DNR Conservation Officer Scott Kinseth said, as they believed the shooting was a genuine mistake. Kinseth said the hunter was extremely cooperative and had no idea he was doing anything morally or legally wrong.
