BIGBY
Came across this and thought it was an interesting read; about a man and his husky-cross. http://moderndogmagazine.com/articles/lost/26796
Removed #5
It was enjoyable, I'd like to be there during the summer though! And yes I can empathize with calling a dog who has gone and doesn't seem to be coming back - that's scary at best! Uh, one comment though - "A writer and her dog venture ..." Oh dear, I skimmed over the intro part and went to the main part of the article
Martian
A very interesting read - perhaps it could be considered to be an introductory guide to 'Extreme Husky'ing'? I have placed myself into 'dangerous' situations where I only have myself to worry about but never with any canine companions. I guess it's a two edged sword whereby you have the additional worry/responsibility for your 'charge' but in return you have a source of warmth and companionship - both of which are invaluable allies when you find yourself placed in uncertain circumstances.
