You're placed in an infinite sized computer generated world where everything exist solely out of blocks. Your goal is to... well, it's like lego - you create your own goals. You can either explore the landscapes (it has huge oceans, desserts and forests), fight hostile mobs that appear once the sun sets, go underground and start explorer the maze of caverns and find rare resources like diamonds, start building your own house (or castle for that matter), start a farm or find wild wolves and try to tame them.
