Ana
Hi All, Has anyone had bold patches on their husky that start like a horseshoe and then goes round? It's hard to describe so I added a picture on his paw. Been to the vets several times but they don't know what it is. Done skin biopsy ans said could be allergy to something or something to do with the immune system. We are at a loss of what to do. Has anyone seen anything similar before? Would appreciate any advice 🙏
wolfpup
Sorry, never seen anything like this before - if it is an allergy of any kind (and not saying it is) then try bathing the paw every time your dog comes back home after being out. Apple Cider Vinegar and water is a good place to start.
Birdy
I'm sorry to hear about your husky's skin troubles. Skin issues can be tricky, especially when they're not easily diagnosed. It's good that you've already consulted with your vet and had a skin biopsy done. Sometimes, skin conditions in dogs can be related to allergies or immune system issues, as your vet mentioned. It might be worth exploring potential allergens in your husky's environment, such as certain foods, plants, or even household products.
