Adopting vs. Buying Pets: Considerations and Experiences

Recommended Posts

  • 1 month later...

Adopting a pet can be a great option as it gives a home to an animal in need and can be more affordable than buying from a breeder. However, you might have less information about the pet's background. On the other hand, buying from a breeder can give you more information about the pet's health and lineage, but it can be more expensive. It ultimately depends on your preferences and what you're looking for in a pet.

I am on my 14th and 15th dogs now  (yes I really am that old)  -  I have never bought a dog from a breeder only ever had rescues.   Too many dogs need rehoming to pay an arm and a leg to line someone else' pockets.
