Jack Needs help

Hello,

My little kid is experiencing issues with his back. There was a spot near his tail when we brought him home, but now it's spreading across his entire back. I took him to the vet, and last time, they cut off the hair and applied some cream, but it doesn't seem to have resolved the issue, as it continues to spread. It’s hard skin and it’s paining,
Can anyone provide advice on what I should do?IMG_7943.thumb.jpeg.b487c9a4b834822fae959a51bfdd071e.jpegIMG_7942.thumb.jpeg.1377bd7023348d9275a5de713ff1b344.jpegIMG_7940.thumb.jpeg.190ecdc48c3e6e4c0db0cfcb54b79c12.jpegIMG_7938.thumb.jpeg.0a6335cf4d30545e9a9dbc6c89532f26.jpeg

Has the vet taken scrapes?   demodex??   allergy??  is there any other information you can provide?    It is extremely difficult to offer any suggestion with so little information.
